Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences

The Federation was looking to move their yearly congress registration into a more robust and automated system and away from the maintenance intensive system that was in place. In a collaborative effort with a CRM company, we developed a e-commerce solution that would allow registrants to maintain a profile which could be re-used in subsequent congresses. Our responsibility became the development of the bi-lingual interfaces that registrants would use to register for a congress, along with available society events such as meetings and banquets. A registrant would also be allowed to return to the system and along with viewing their existing registration, the registrant would also be allowed to append additional society events to their registration creating a self-serve environment.

We also provided the Federation with the ability to manage all accounts and registrations through a web-based administrative panel, meaning that the management of data could be done from anywhere, which became an important factor when the Federation was using our system for on-site registrations.

When the system is on-line it may be viewed at the congress web site.
