Reach Canada - whose reach extends with a new web site
We were tasked with with a great ambition - provide a Content Management System ('CMS') based solution to a client who didn't really have a budget. Luckily for Reach Canada we like to help out one organization at a time in need whenever we can. You can always ask us if we are currently donating, and if not - apply.
When we looked at some of the challenges that the charity was facing we quickly realized that there was no best-practices developed when it came to communicating on the web. And while this shouldn't seems strange for us to bring up, proper communication on the web is essential to getting your information across successfully. We could focus on the fact that we supplied Reach with a Content Management System, an events tool, a project listing tool, a photo gallery, a new web design, and several data collection forms, but those are just tools that Reach uses to post information which misses the most important thing, the result which is an effective web communications platform. Reach no longer has to worry about colour schemes or any other design elements, as those are handled by the CMS, leaving Reach with a lot more time to focus on inputting valuable visitor content. Since after all, content is king.
