Community Learning Network

We were tasked with the development and website design of a new CLN website in order to ensure branding guidelines were followed and the website usage made simple. The project also included the installation of a Content Management System, Discussion Forums and a File Sharing application all using a centralized members database.

Project elements included:

Web Design: Using our proprietary web design process we consulted on needs and goals of the organization and how the website would accomplish those. Development of a site architecture and wireframes presented an opportunity to visualize the website and its organization and allowed opportunity for change. Once all up-front work was approved we developed a website design which was approved on the first concept with minor revisions.

Web Content Management System: We installed a Content Management System which allows CLN to manage all content internally. All content is auto-archived and CLN makes use of a WYSIWYG editor for all content manipulation. There are two website profiles in the system, one for the general public and a members-only website.

Custom Applications: As part of the project we also leveraged the application framework which is used for the CLN website to integrate the membership with discussion and file sharing systems.

Website Hosting: We are providing the client with PCI certified and Canadian based web and e-mail hosting for the duration of this project.
